Heather Klemm

Heather is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Toledo and her master’s degree in Counseling at Argosy University. Heather has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field.

Heather has previous experience as a therapist in residential treatment for children and adolescent, therapeutic day school, outpatient therapy, and as a crisis therapist. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is an important part of therapy and the foundation for change. She believes that each person and family is unique and will work with the family to determine goals for treatment.

Heather uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to assist her clients in making positive changes in their lives. Heather is certified in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She also received her CBIT Certification (Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics) from the Tourette Association of America. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, OCD, CBIT, mood disorders, self-injury, trauma, and ADHD.
