Danielle Nebel

Danielle Nebel attended the University of Iowa, where she received her B.A. in Psychology. Danielle earned her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor through the Illinois Board of Professional Regulation. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors.

Danielle has over ten years experience working with children and adolescents from ages 3-21 in various settings including residential treatment, inpatient, and outpatient therapy. She uses a variety of treatment modalities to best meet individual needs. She has encountered a wide array of disorders and has extensive experience with illnesses including: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and conduct disorder. She completed her graduate internship at a local pediatric psychiatric hospital focused on self-injurious and suicidal adolescents.

Danielle has a knack of connecting with kids and teens. Beyond her training, Danielle’s easy-going and genuine personality prompts teens to give HER name to their friends, when their friends need help. That says a lot. Parents are reassured by her professionalism, dedication, and clear communication skills.

Danielle attended Practice-Based Intensive DBT Training and is a member of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Association. She enjoys participating in her weekly DBT Consultation Team. Danielle works closely with children and families to provide the tools necessary to effectively get through difficult situations.
